Hi, I'm Lauren, Sports Therapist BSc and I am fortunate enough to run TherapYOUtic from my very own private studio.
I got into the industry (which is just awesome) because I was pursuing a career as a sprinter when I fractured my back. It showed me that the industry can be brutal, un-empathetic and expensive, so I wanted to change it. When I finally found one fantastic physio, I knew this is what I wanted to do - accept I didn't want to study hospital recovery or NHS work, I wanted to specialise in just injuries and pain - that's where my degree in Sports Therapy comes in (commonly misunderstood unfortunately).
I am an expert in all things injury, anatomy, posture and although I specialise in sport, I usually work with every day people just wanting to work pain free or stop taking pills.
️I have been practicing for over 15 years and I like to listen to people, I also probably get a bit over invested, because I really do care. My clinic specialises in hard cases, like I was. I think rehabilitation is personal and needs to fit people's lifestyles and budgets - not one sheet of exercises fits all! I have helped hundreds of people get rid of their pain which is just the most amazing job to have.
I have helped lots of people who have been going elsewhere for years, or hit dead ends - those cases are actually my favourites. I mean I love a runner with a hamstring tear, who doesn't? But the reward of being that one person to help is addictive.
If you want to get to know me better I would love it if you check out my social media) or drop me a message, especially if you need some help!
Ps, because this is getting long, well done for getting this far, I don't believe people should keep coming back. It makes no sense. Find the original problem (there always is one) actually fix it, meet happy clients for coffee, not never-ending appointments.
Hi, I’m Becky, a sports therapist excited to be part of TherapYOUtic.
Throughout my childhood and into adulthood, I have enjoyed coaching and participating in gymnastics, as well as competing nationally within a street dance troop when I was younger. Sports has always been a big part of my life and I can now take this knowledge into a career that also helps others.
I have always been a caring person who takes everyone’s thoughts and feelings into account. While working in a spa, this solidified my ambition to be more hands on, helping clients directly. For me, I love to know that my job will make people happier and healthier, within themselves and throughout their day to day lives.
I am fascinated by the mind-body connection and keen to bring this to TherapYOUtic through therapies such as meditation and sound therapy, ensuring our clients get the most healing experience. I love yoga and travel and can’t wait to combine the two in Thailand in 2025, bringing back a wealth of knowledge not just on the techniques, but how this equates to a whole-body experience.
Look out for me on social media as my journey with TherapYOUtic continues. I can’t wait to start meeting everyone, learning and being part of people’s journey to recovery.
